Short Courses

On Thursday, December 1, four short courses in the environmental restoration and munitions response areas offered unique training opportunities on recent advancements in science and technology. Professional development hours (PDH) were offered for short courses.

Below is a list of this year’s short courses. For more information about each course, click the course number to view a brief description, a detailed agenda, and instructor presentations.
 

2011 Short Courses

THURSDAY MORNING

  • Course 1 – Implementing Classification on a Munitions Response Project (On-Demand Video Available)
  • Course 2 – Estimating DNAPL Source Zone Natural Attenuation 
  • Course 3 – Thermal Treatment Technologies: Lessons Learned (On-Demand Video Available)

THURSDAY AFTERNOON

  • Course 4 – Field Methods to Distinguish between Vapor Intrusion and Indoor Sources of VOCs (On-Demand Video Available)
